  <stage> corresponds to a life stage: Childhood, Teenage Years, and
  Adulthood.
  
  The +bg command will check your own background. When using the /add 
  switch, you can set your own background. Note that the /add switch, when
  setting, does /not/ overwrite your older background, it appends to it. Using
  the /edit option will allow you to edit your background. You can not add to 
  or edit your background once you have been approved without contacting an 
  admin. The /clear switch should be used if you want to dump all BG info, or
  by using <stage>, clear just the individual <stage>.
