  Anomaly TrekMUX has a first come, first serve policy regarding open slots on 
  the roster. This policy means that the first APPROVED application for a given 
  slot on the roster will be granted that slot. It is not uncommon for more 
  than one player to apply for an open position on the roster, and should 
  multiple applications be submitted at the same time and be approvable, some 
  other method of selection will be chosen. Staff handles many applications in
  a given time period, and more than one staff member may handle any 
  application. For this and other reasons, we cannot 'hold' an open position 
  for a player applying.
