We have a procedure for getting what you want out of staff, and that
procedure is the +request. +requests should be filed for anything you need:
housing, questions answered (both of an IC and OOC nature), equipment, etc.
Paging staff asking for something should be considered a last resort and used
only in emergencies. @mailing them with your request is also against policy
  and procedure.

The reason we ask you to do +request instead of paging or @mailing is because
staff is, frankly, busy. We have a lot of players, a lot of plots, and a nice
way of dealing with issues with our +jobs system - the same system you have
for tracking open IC issues with +reports. When a job comes in via +request,
it can be delegated to someone who a) has time, b) has authority, or c) is
most qualified. Yes, that means it may take a day or two to get back to you,
but frankly, you can wait. Your question about the alts policy may be burning
you up inside, but it's something that can wait.

I realize MTV has given us Instant Gratification Complexes over the years,
but patience in the request regard is indeed a virtue. I've never had one
single complaint about how long it has taken us to get back to someone on an
issue. We have a 3-day turnaround policy on +requests, and that is better
service than you'll get on any other game out there.

By cooperating with this policy you are helping make the game more fun for
everyone, as we are able to be more relaxed about how we handle issues.
Unless it is an EMERGENCY, do not page, or @mail your request. Likely, it
will be ignored unless you go through the proper channels.

Please keep requests as short and as SUCCINCT as possible. There is no need
to 'sign' your requests with your name.
