  Klingons, much like Ferengi, are dismissive and disdainful of philosophical
  beliefs that differ from their own, though they generally don't have the same
  compunctions against expressing their lack of interest and/or respect for
  said beliefs. While Klingon mythology claims that they killed their gods 
  because they were too much trouble back at the genesis of modern Klingon 
  civilization, there is a varying level of reverence for Kahless, the first 
  Emperor, which ranges from casual use of his name in cursing over  bloodwine 
  to cults which follow the (cloned) figurehead with true zeal.
