Acceptable use policy for Anomaly Public Forums:

Anomaly is not a family-oriented MUX. The game explores dark themes, both
moral and philosophical, and we have some rather dark PC's and NPC's alike.
However, with that said, it should be noted that Anomaly's public forums are
not for harsh language. What is a public forum? Anywhere you're not 'in
private'. This includes channels, bulletin boards, public roleplay, events,
  episodes, etc.

While staff has no intention of forcing censorship, do note that excessively
harsh language falls outside of thematic issues. There are ways your
character can express themselves without resorting to the use of harsh
language. A good rule of thumb is to keep the language PG. Your character
can adopt an alien swear word, or you could pose 'Bob mutters several
Terran swears under his breath.' We all get the idea. Publicly this is
acceptable. 'Damn', 'Hell' and certain usages of the word 'Ass' are
acceptable ('He's such an ass' is acceptable, 'Look at my ass' is not).
People in the 24th century have pretty much outgrown the need to express
themselves with such colorful metaphors. When you are roleplaying behind
closed doors with people whom you know will accept such language, say
  whatever you wish.

We also do not allow harsh language in anything that can make it to the web
page. We're 18+ here (or at least, should be), but the web page has no such
age distinction - anyone can make it there. This includes Episodes and
Personal Logs, both of which eventually make it to the web page.

Violations of the forum acceptable use policy will result in posts removed,
possible strikes, and eventual ejection from the game if it becomes a
  problem.
