  Sometimes circumstances dictate that the rules should be bent in favor of a
  character. Such circumstances must be determined in the scene. The exact
  circumstances will vary, so the players must use their judgment and decide on
  whether or not a character gets advantage. Advantage must be called prior to
  the contest, or any claims to it are forfeit.
  
  Examples:
  
    *  The Klingon Warrior knocks J'Vel to his knees. The Klingon can now lay
       claim to Advantage for his next attack.
       
    *  Lt. Okodua tries to sneak past the Breen Guard. The guard just happens
       to be dozing off, giving Lt. Okuda claim to Advantage.
       
  Your Character Advantages can also give you claim to Advantage. Just because
  it is on your sheet - if you do not claim it prior, then you do not get the
  bonus.
