Energy Weapons
Phasers, or PHASed Energy Rectifiers are the standard weapon of the Federation. Phasers have a small transceiver allowing the station or ship to monitor usage and use is limited to Level 3 or lower unless given permission by command staff. Phasers can also be tuned to the user's bioelectric signature so no one else can use it.

Phasers can be used in the following four ways:
- Standard Beam
This is the default setting. - Pulse
The pulse mode expends more energy to produce a more damaging attack. - Continuous Beam
When set to continuous beam the phaser will emit a continuous beam of energy rather than a single shot beam. This does no more damage than the standard beam. - Wide Beam
The wide beam setting has a range of 10 meters and is up to 8 meters wide. It can also only be used on settings 1 through 6.

TR-116 and TR-116B
The original TR-116 is a chemical projectile weapon with an upper range of around 1000 meters. Its basically a 24th century rifle with an advanced sight. The TR-116B is a newer version of the rifle. It is a gauss rifle, using magnetic technology to accelerate the projectile out of the weapon. It has a shorter range of around 750 meters, but it quieter, lacks a muzzle flash and has less recoil.
