Daedalus

Position: Director

Daedalus began his Fantastic Adventures In Structured Make-Believe (i.e., RPGs) in 1977, at the age of 7, and considers all of his prior attempts at Make-Believe before that to be pure and unmitigated crap worthy only of the mind of an unschooled child. This is as opposed to everything since, which is at least worth of the mind of an educated dolphin-man hybrid from the lab of Doctor Moreau. Other than Star Trek, and several variants of D&D, he is known to play and enjoy GURPS, In Nomine, Call of Cthulhu, Everlasting, Amber DRPG, 7th Sea, Fading Suns, and some of the historical-setting World of Darkness games. Once in a blue moon, he can even be convinced to attend a LARP. When not gaming, he works for the State of Florida doing database support for a little-known sub-branch of a very well-known state guvmint agency. He also performs the occasional wedding ceremony as either a notary public or a clergyman. His picture on this page is from the post-ceremony festivities of a wedding he performed in mid-2003.

A MU*er since late 1992 who once maintained 33 active characters across 19 games at one time, Daedalus now plays only on a very small handful of MU*s, mostly due to the demands of being in the real world and the work force. He has, however, been a proud Anomalite since mid-2000. His first and still primary persona on the game, Akeen Ghorev, reached the rank of Commander, and his position as Anomaly's longest running Executive Officer, as the game's longest-running-without-interruptions active PC. Eventually, however, Daedalus succumbed to Starfleet's siren-call to join staff and run plots.

So, in short, you can blame Fleety. But not Poole.
