Adama

Position: Production Coordinator

Adama is one of those types that have been at the computer gaming dealio for a long time, and gaming in general even longer. He doesn't really remember EXACTLY when he started playing Dungeons and Dragons - it was some time in 1980 or 1981. He does remember his first Dungeon Master, but not by name. The DM in question had a slight medical situation. Not a problem, just a situation. If Adama remembers right, that DM had an extra layer of skin on his cheeks. It made him look like a chipmunk, or as if he was holding something in his mouth all the time. It was the kind of thing where you know you shouldn't look, but you couldn't help it. Adama doesn't remember most of his first adventures. He does remember one character, a Paladin who was named 'Noel' (a rather unhappy situation considering Adama is Jewish) who, in one night, went from 3rd level to 9th level, and seduced/was seduced by a succubus.

Hey, Adama was barely thirteen at the time, if that. Most of us can remember our hormones being completely out of control then. It's just that most of us won't admit it!

Adama first got into DMing himself after his uncle, who was a salesman for TSR, brought him a copy of the Red Box and the 1st Edition PHB and DMG. He still has both, though the fact that the DMG is all taped up now kinda means that he loses credit for having a 1st edition DMG that was originally printed backwards and upside-down.

Eventually, Adama matured (though others may argue that), went on to High School (where he had a fairly regular D&D campaign), and eventually to a University where, after six years, he gained a degree in Information Systems, with a specialty in databases. Since then, he's been working. Off and on, at least. A consultant's life is never easy.

Adama has branched off into other gaming systems besides D&D, though it remains his first 'love' and the one that he continually returns to. He has played Amber Diceless, and was even one of the founding Wizards of PatternFall MUSH (and first started on AmberMUSH when IT first started), where he still is, but is mostly retired. He is also a Wizard at Fantasy Moon, an anime-based MUSH. This combines his love for gaming with one of his other obsessions: Japanese Animation. At last count, Adama had more anime than any three college anime clubs, possibly more. Over a year before this writing, he had 400+ videotapes, and he hasn't counted his DVDs. Anomaly is his first Star Trek-based MU*, though not the first one he ever tried. The others just couldn't seem to hold his interest. (This happened with a number of World of Darkness MU*s too.)

Adama's previous experience with administering Staffly duties include:
