Summary:

2353: Born on a space transport to Sephia Turtledove, a Federation civilian native to Rome. Sephia is a wanderer, hopping from colony to colony --- they spend most of their time on transports.

2357: The USS Potemkin responds to a distress call from a small merchant vessel outside the Turkana system. Tera and her mother are transported aboard for the birth of Robin, Tera’s first and only sibling.

2364: Mother and sister Robin are killed in a mugging. Tera survives, sustaining severe damage to her skull. She is integrated into the Federation and introduced to the concept of school in the retired mining colony of New New Jersey. At first, her teachers believe that she may not be able to progress, scholastically --- but by the time she is ready to graduate, her scores are exemplary --- so much so that her teachers recommend that she apply to Starfleet Academy.

2371: Accepted into Starfleet Academy. She performs adequately in her first year, excelling particularly in physical training and computer applications. She is a quiet, polite, and cheerful student. Though she gets along well with her classmates, she generally does not participate in the recommended quota of extra-curricular activities.

2372: Declares her intention to specialize in Security. She continues to perform quietly and adequately.

2373: Draws the attention of her hand-to-hand combat instructor, CMDR Jason Law. He encourages her to apply for the RRT program. With increased demand due to the Dominion War, her application is accepted, and she transfers (somewhat late) into the program.

2374: Cadet Cruise aboard the USS Tiananmen.

2375: Graduates from Starfleet Academy and joins Dylan Golden as the second officer posted to the Station 419 Rapid Response Team, in the Dulcais sector.

2375: Decoration given by CAPT Tarsis Balin on 52702.6: Distinguished Service Star.

2375: Agrees to transfer to Timefleet with the rest of the s419 RRT. Since Timefleet is still classified, the team continues to perform, to all appearances, as the s419 RRT.

2376: Timefleet missions begin, leading to an increasing rift between s419 Command officers and the former RRT.

2376: Promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade.

2376: Decoration given by Federation President Rosalev Kor on 53169.3: Federation Medal of Valor.

2376: Decoration given by CAPT Tarsis Balin on 53235.0: Battle Of Occa.

2376: Commendation given by LT Wendy Tyler on 53578.8 for actions during the classified Operation: Cannali.

2377: Declared KIA with team-mates Dylan Golden and Takamura Hiroshi after a classified mission (Operation: Violet Sky, stardate 53845.9). They make a surprise return on stardate 54060.8, dressed very strangely, temporally-displaced, and in varying states of malnutrition and injury. Their return leads up to the dire ‘Eater of Worlds’ phenomenon, which is deftly thwarted by the regular crew of Station 419. (Classified)

2377: Federation President Rosalev Kor announces the existence of Timefleet.

2377: Timefleet officers move off of Station 419, to permanent quarters on the USS Aegis.

2377: Is promoted to TRT Executive Officer when TRT CO LT Dylan Golden is unexpectedly re-assigned off-station.

2377: Is promoted to Lieutenant, along with team-mates Hiroshi Takamura and Craig Malloy.

2378: Under imminent threat of Lithian invasion, she is visited by Admiral Sinclaire and informed of Operation: Second Chance. She is warned to prepare for resistance from the s419 crew.

2378: She dies attempting to stun her CO, LT Tyler, after a cease-fire order is given. The stunning blast is apparently amplified by the familiar protective surge of the artifact --- the resulting energy beam kills Tyler, Turtledove, and the artifact.

2378: With Tyler's death, the Lithian time-loop destabilizes and collapses, leaving a new galaxy for the crew of s419 to deal with. Turtledove rests in peace.

Proficiencies: LT Turtledove specializes in reconnaissance and infiltration. Her primary proficiencies are ground operations and armed combat. Her secondary proficiencies are tactical and security systems, security bypass, and data alteration. She is also cross-trained in transportation and flight control systems. Turtledove is qualified as expert with Phaser I, II, and III, and is rated for EVA operations. However, she may be best known for the feats of her knife, a deadly beauty appropriately named 'Utlara'. Utlara was crafted by Thaal'vor Idisha, a former member of the s419 RRT.

Deficiencies: LT Turtledove is reported to have a minor phobia of Nausicaans. Alone, she can be a risk-taker, but when acting as part of a team she is highly disciplined and follows orders explicitly. She can be difficult to get to know on a personal level.
