Summary:

2347: Nevaren is born on Clourr. within Bajoran space, during Cardassian Occupation. His father was Dr. Adrian Weiss, a 'humanitarian' who snuck into Cardassian held Bajoran space to aid the resistance. His mother was Commander Naya, a high ranking agent of the Tal'Shiar who entered into occupied space on some now unknown mission. Both were captured and imprisoned on Clourr.

2351: Nevaren's parents die, in a prison revolt when he turns four years old. No Bajorans or Cardassians will take him in due to bigotry against the alien half-breed, except for an elderly Vedek Golan.

2354: Nevaren is discovered to have unusually high technological aptitude and is used by the Cardassians to fix machinery in alcoves too small for adults to fit into.

2362: Nevaren is the main instrument in a prison revolt. He sabotages all camp systems,  and makes possible for 3 dozen Bajoran prisoners to escape in a frigate to Federation Territory. Their Ship is intercepted by the USS Damoclese, under command of Captain Henry Regal. Regal reports he is impressed by Nevaren's ingenuity. Nevaren also stole a hoard of vital information from the Cardassian computers and presents it to Starfleet Intelligence.

2363: Nevaren spends next year in psych-rehabilitation. Captain Regal's family adopts him.

2366: On recommendation of Capt. Regal, Nevaren's application to Starfleet academy is accepted

2369: On his cadet cruise, Nevaren saves the USS London from an attack by Orion Smugglers

2370: Cadet Nevaren graduates from Starfleet Academy's engineering Core with honors. He is posted on the USS Rapier, commanded by Capt. Venice Wayne. While she reports Ensign Nevaren has a few "issues" he is congratulated on two occasions for his ingenuity in a crisis.

2372: Ensign Nevaren requests transfer to USS Victory. His records show 3 counts of insubordination towards a superior officer, though he contests the charges. Starfleet Intelligence and Starfleet Command acquit him of charges and approves request of transfer.

2373: USS Victory destroyed by Jem-Hadar warship. 475 crew lost. Nevaren and engineering crew found in stasis pods. Ensign Nevaren is debriefed and re-habilitated at Utopia Planetia. 

2374: Nevaren is transferred to Station 419. He is promoted to Lieutenant JG, and given the post of Assistant Chief of Engineering.

2375: Nevaren is reprimanded for disobeying a direct order by Ghorev.   Reprimanded for disobeying a direct order in regards to the rescue of Tarsis Balin from Betazed by Stavek.  Nevaren's Romulan heritage is made public by his Half-Sister, Sub-Commander Mekara.  Nevaren is Kidnapped and tortued by the Militant Romulan Civilian faction known as the Tal'Kaden, then Rescued by Lt. Edwards and SubLt. Jolvan.  Nevaren is Reprimanded for Unethical Use of Technology during an Encounter with Two, warring,  lesser-advanced species.  Passes Line Officer's Exam.

Proficiencies: Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering  and Shipboard Systems, Languages, Mountain Survival, First Aid/Combat Medic

Deficiencies:  Physical Defect: Albino. Cannot stand high doses of UV radiation without protection. Takes medication for this regularly. Very Impulsive and strong-headed. Aggressive. Closed-mouthed.
