Summary:

2361: McCauley enrolls in Starfleet Academy and moves to Earth campus. Chooses the Engineering program.

2365: Finishes course work and assigned to the USS Vegas for cadet cruise. Cadet cruise is completed in late 2365 with no problems and he graduates from SFA.

2365: After graduation he is reassigned to the USS Vegas at the request of Captain Tangiers. Continues to serve on the Vegas for two years and earns promotion from Ensign to Lieutenant Junior Grade.

2368: Transfers to the USS Providence under Captain Askar. Serves on the Providence for four years.

2369: Jason Malcolm born to Alynn McCauley and Sheila Malcolm. Promoted to Lieutenant.

2372: Transfers to the USS Excel. Promoted to Assistant Chief of Engineering. The Excel fights on the front line of the Dominion War and McCauley and the Engineering team spend long hours keeping the ship in fighting condition.

2375: Transfers to the USS Assurant as Assistant Chief of Engineering.

2377: Transfers to Station 419 Upsilon as Chief of Engineering.

Proficiencies: Systems Engineering, Materials Engineering, Command

Deficiencies: McCauley is rather direct and can come off gruff at times. He's weak in Administration and Propulsion Engineering.
