Summary:

2352: Born July 23, 2352, Thara Highlands, Andoria. Her family is a traditional quad, with only four children: Two older sisters and an older brother.

2365: One of Idrani's parents, a valgral, Krutus Idrani, is killed in a duel Thane Kor, over a legal dispute that is brought into the dueling arena. Outraged, Jaylas Idrani challenges Thane Kor's daughter, Vetta Kor, a girl slightly her senior, to a duel. Jaylas slays Vetta Kor on the linens of the ushaan, earning the enmity of Vetta's older brother, Ivalen Kor, who later becomes a Starfleet Command line officer. The realization of the pre-meditated slaying shakes the young Andorian profoundly and she enters a deep depression for the next couple years.

2367: Jaylas Idrani meets a few Starfleet officers from the USS Gettysburg. After a lengthy talk with the Gettysburg's Andorian Chief of Security, Idrani finds the direction and anchor she had been seeking. Though her first kill is not forgotten, she is able to move beyond it. She works very hard to complete her studies and prepare for the Starfleet Academy Entrance Examination.

2368: Jaylas Idrani achieves the rank of hristal, or weapon master, and is recognized by the fighting masters of Andoria.

2370: Applies to Starfleet Academy and is accepted.

2372: Initial application to the Rapid Response program is declined when it is discovered that Idrani has a medical condition which makes Zero-gravity environments intolerable to her.

2373: After considering several different career options, Idrani graduates from the classroom portion of the Academy, with degrees in Archaeology and Sociology. She receives physical fitness honors in Cross-Country running and Fencing.

2374: Cadet cruise on the USS Eagle, receiving a solid review from her superior officer. She is helping on a planet side archaeology dig when the USS Eagle is destroyed later that year. She finishes her cadet cruise on the dig.

2375: Transferred to S419 as the Social Sciences technician. Almost immediately she requests and is given a branch transfer to Diplomatic Attaché position, working with Ambassador S'terik of Vulcan. She is given a commendation later that year by Commander Balin, but the particulars of it are deemed classified.

2375: Promoted to Lt. JG.
