2361: Apprenticed to father at the age of 10 and
proceeds to learn the family trade of bladesmithing.
2368: Recognized as a master smith at the early
age of seventeen. Makes plans to marry his childhood love Serendis Omtala but
complications arise due to keth politics.
2369: After a year of politics and a newfound
bond between keths Omtala and Idisha, Serendis and Thaal'vor are married to
Tanesh and Les'fala. It is assumed they will submit to the kethni council to
begin their own keth once the family establishes itself.
2369: Later that same year a scandal unfolds and
Thaal'vor applies to the academy, taking his family with him to Earth to begin
anew.
2373: Graduates from Starfleet Academy and is
assigned to the USS Carolina. A non-Andorian vessel, the family suffers the
hardship of being separated for the long deployment.
2375: As part of the liberation of Betazed,
Thaal'vor sees combat on board the Carolina and receives the Starfleet Combat
Medal for wounds received during the conflict. Poor relations with his captain
prevent a commendation despite his stellar performance during the conflict.
2375: First Officer of the Carolina pushes
through Idisha's request for assignment to a vessel with Andorian crew and is
reassigned to Starbase 419 as their junior structural engineer. Thaal'vor is
overjoyed at the news. He and his family arrive on the station and settle into
the Andorian Lodge.
Proficiencies: Materials Engineering
(Structural, Metallurgical, Weaponsmithing), Systems Engineering (Environmental,
Engineering), Ships Systems (Environmental, Replicator, Engineeering).
Hobbies: Thaal'vor is an amateur enthusiast of
the Andorian game, kochek. He is also trained in the business of dueling, having
studied ushaani practices and passed a proficiency exam in Andorian law. A thing
he takes very seriously.
Deficiencies: Having been raised to be keth
Idisha's golden boy of bladesmithing, Thaal'vor takes the honor of himself, his
family, and his keth very seriously. This was put to the test once before and he
put his life on the line. Only time will tell if this will have an adverse
affect on his career but he tries to defuse situations of honor before they
develop into dueling material.
