Summary:

2349: She is born to Doctor Robhar and Science Vessel Commander Amherst in the Netral ditrict of planet Napea.

2357: Her uncle Ericyl dissapears without a trace; a big mystery to this day.

2361-2365: She make several trips off of Napea looking for her uncle. These trips are her first main taste of other cultures, and that her people are pacifist in comparison. Her appetite is whetted.

2367: She starts at the Academy. Since this is just 6 months after the Borg attack at Wolf 359, she finds a real patriotism at the Academy. This clashes with her pacifist ways, but since she's not in a military major, it didn't really matter. What mattered more is her being a sexy hedonist, she was always partying and missed some classes as a result.

2370: Cadet cruise on the USS Paris

2371: Graduated from the Academy with academic honors (but not disciplinary; she missed too many classes for that).

2372: First assignment on the USS Hood, where she helped to research tectonic problems on Errikang II. She was one of several scientists working on the problem, but it was her insights that 'cracked the case' and lead to the final solution.

2372: Her climatology proffesor from the Academy, Dr. Milt Chelios, died very suddenly, which she took very hard. While she never took time off, her duties may have suffered a little bit. Not enough for any discipline, just not up to her usual standards for almost a year. She had never told her family how close she was to Dr. Chelios (indeed, she didn't really realize it either till he died). She saw a counselor for awhile to deal with his loss and not being able to attend his funeral.

2373: Posted to the USS Talfarerier, a small science ship with all of its compliment Napeans as the Assistant Science Officer. She found herself strangely uncomfortable among all of her own kind though; in her short time in Starfleet she was already fairly accustomed to being the only pacifist around. Well, maybe not uncomfortable, just accustomed to the diversity.

2375: Transfered to Station 419, mostly because of a desire to return to the diversity of other races around.

Proficiencies:
Planetary Sciences (Climatology, Geology, and Planetology)

Deficiencies:
A) Chessie Givens is a pacifist; she can only fight for self defense.

B) When under situations of stress, she can lose mental control and when that happens, people around her can get her feelings projected into their minds.

C) Chessie Givens is a hedonist; when the opportunity presents itself to indulge herself, she has been known to forgo her duty.
